Build King's card.
I just read a Build King review yesterday on Cool Japanese Toys .
I have to disagree with some points. First off, Build King is very stable. I don't have any problems with him falling over (standing stability). Also, like JRX, the big guy's arms (using the green one as the arms here) stay in place if you work the arm joints correctly. The joints are appreciated but the pelvic armor blocks the range of motion of the legs. The "interlock" mechanism is ingenious! It took a bit of work to get the green guy and orange guy pegged. I just got this last night so I only transformed them twice through. I have yet to rotate the limb robots around. Perhaps the reviewer had the green guy as a leg. I can't see how the green guy can supply foot stability. So is anyone going to buy three of the same robot to join to Build Boy? The green one is confusing with all the turning around of junk. I really like the orange dozer, Build Boy.\ The other two are almost carbon copies of each other. One just has a crane and one with the dumper. I don't care for the crane's red coloration but I love the sniper rifle and pistol. Must be the NRA member of the team.
In agreeing with the other reviewer, I strongly recommend Build King. Each individual robot has gimmicks and weapons. Each look great as action figure robots and vehicles. The combined mode is interesting to say the least. For 4800yen (almost $50 US) it's a bit steep but think of it as getting four DELUXE robots and you'll soften up to getting one. No news on an American release but if this goes over well, I'm sure Hasbro will bring the series over.
